Is there any future for an online support group chat where people can get instant responses from the other members?
Just wondering. I think it would be great to have more instant encourage and support.

Dear Brian,
Send that message/request to Anne-Marie, the site administrator - or the Support Center's e-mail address - then, figure out when everyone is on. I check in usually, a few times a day. I have taken it on as a responsiblility as well as a way to get 'support'myself. I would not expect anyone to respond to me if I wasn't willing to participate, also. I asked when I joined the group if I ever needed instant support, let's say I was freaking out here at home. My answer was yes. So, let me know what you find out and how the 'site' responds to you. Maybe we need to post an S.O.S. or something?

Hi. Welcome, Brian!
We don't have plans for a chat room at the moment. Since the forum is open 24 hours a day, and people like to learn from posts, we opted to choose the forum style. This is not an emergency site but an educational one, where we all hope to learn more about panic disorder in all its aspects. We all check in at different times during the day or night, and I hope you will comfortable in posting here.
As the group grows, there will probably be more people online at the same time. We're still brand new though. We hope you like the site.
