Hi, everyone.  As most of you know, I just moved to a new city.  I know, I know, enough about that already!  Anyway, the time is drawing closer for my husband to start school.  I'm beginning to get more anxious every day.  I feel like I can't do this.  I also feel kind of trapped.  I'm in this little apartment in a city where I don't know many people.  I don't have a job (a whole other hurdle to cross sometime soon).  I'm just imagining myself sitting here in this place for hours at a time panicking.  Does anyone have any helpful info on how to deal with panic and being alone?  I feel sick all the time.  I can't sleep.  I don't drive (because of panic).  I just feel so alone.  Any suggestions?

Dear Katie:
I wish I could be there with you.  I love new places and discovering and trying new possibilities.  Have you thought of journaling?  or creating or making things like crafts? Maybe you could fantasize about how you would like things to be and then start a wish list and then start goal setting and make a to do list to get you to those goals and there you go, you're busy!  I realize I am trying to fix it for you and I really can't but I do care and will pray that you can find PEACE.........Another idea just popped into my head.  How would you feel about writing to some people who you might never have expected to write to or they would never have expected you to write to them.  Like an old school friend, or distant relative or even some of those people in Iraq that represent the U.S.  I heard they have programs on the internet where you can write to those people who don't have families to write to them.  Gee, hope you can hang in there.  I really do.  I hate this panic stuff!
