has anyone switched antidepressants?  was it difficult and full of side effects? i want to switch off paxil cr 50 mg...i think after 10 years it just doesn't do the job...so does the psych wean me off and put me back on another slowly...or start the new medicine while i wean off the original?

Paxil causes sexual disfunction.  As to getting off of it, go gradually, but you will still have side effects.  The doctor should advise you as to how to do it.  You will be sick for a while, but I bet there are other medications that will help you better.  I'm glad I found others...
