I finally achieved a small goal!!!  I was able to ride
about 2 miles from my house and back!!!  I was a
bit anxious, but not nearly as bad as I thought I'd
be.  We did the exposure twice, and the second
time I felt shaky but proud, and actually went in a
clothing shop and bought myself a new bathing
suit.

Its silly--such a small step, but the first psoitive
thing I've felt in weeks!  I hope the rest of you are
hanging in there...There is hope.

Smile  That's awsome.  I wish you continued success and strength.  I too had a little step myself this week.  I haven't driven by myself in 3 years.  I let my drivers license expire in December.  I didn't feel the need to renew since it was a great excuse not to be able to drive if I was asked.  Now that we're moving, I figured I better take care of it.  So, finally, after 8 months of putting it off because I was terrified to take the test, I did it.  I'm still not ready to drive yet, but at least if I do, I won't get arrested (ha ha).  Way to go lauralai.  I'm really proud of you.  Your little steps inspire others more than you know.

Good job to all of your successes!!! I had a great night last night and made it out to dinner in a restaurant and to the mall and then the bookstore.  I drove while my husband was next to me.  Keep the good things in mind when you are at the bottom.  All success are steps towards the future and making a better life.
