Hi everyone,

It's has been 4 months i didnt visit this forum. Why? because my panic attack has gone away. Let me tell how
i get over with this fear so that u might consider think what i did. I can do it w/o having any medicine.

The most fear i had is faint. i always think i would pass out. But i never did. Of course, i also fear of dying, disease...etc and i even had depression because of it.

I read many self help books, the following book help me alot from depression - Stop thinking, start living by richard carlson. I highly recommend this book.

Well, i even read some religion book about death. And i realise death isnt so scary, many of us scared of death and do not accept it and waste most of time to worry it.

Same goes to fainting, i realised i always scared of fainting. But that's really nothing to scare of faint, if we faint, we get up and start living again. Since it doesnt affect us much, why we waste your time to worry?  Start enjoy your life. Fainting isnt any big deal!!!!

After i realised i accept my fear more and more. And i m not longer scare of being the place i afraid of. Of course my depression gone because of this conquer.

Of course, it takes time for u to accept the fear. But believe me, i really did it, so can u!!!!

Forget to add :

Dont worry the future.

Distraction do not help much. I will still think of panic attack but i do not afraid anymore cos i have accepted it. So, if u might wonder, someday this fear will come back? Yes, Maybe but so what? because even it's in my memory and i unable to erase it BUT i m fear of it!!!

Nice to hear that!

I've found myself thinking a bit like you:
"ok, you're going to have a fit because you're afraid of having it - so why not stop worrying about it and accept that if it comes, you'll just wait for it to pass - as always - and continue?". It does work, and even if it doesn't, it's no big deal.
