Yesterday was another good day for me:) My mother and I had to go to another town, anout 80 miles from here. And since I am agoraphobic and she's currently having a small bout of depression we asked our friend to drive us there. Imagine - two people who aren't very keen on travelling going through Poland! But it wasn't bad at all. I had Xanax with me in case something should happen but I was able to challenge my anxious thoughs as they appeared. REALLY! I had a few episodes of them there and back but I was successful with positive talk. When we came back to Lodz (where I live), we went shopping to the mall, another one of my monsters. And there I would use humor to help me survive my anxiety, xanax was left home and all forgotten about. And I have to tell you that I haven't taken any benzo since February and that was when my doggie had an operation... Agoraphobic but a brave one;) Hang in there, it is POSSIBLE to get over those attacks. Thanks for support, Iwona

You should be very proud of yourself. It is those baby steps that will lead to giant leaps. Sto lat!
