Has anybody used hypnotherapy as an aid for anxiety ? I know its supposed to be a growing discipline and much more widely respected, but would be intersted to hear from anyone who has used this.

I've been considering getting deeper into self hypnosis lately, because I don't trust someone else to do it to me. Anyone have any luck with self hypnosis? So far I have had very moderated success with it.
Tips?
Suggestions?

I've been considering self-hypnosis also, tho I haven't dedicated much time to studying it yet. If I do find any good resources I will definitely share.
