GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!!  It's going to be a good day!!
Think positive thoughts today.  Take 5 minutes here and there through-out the day to think of 5 things you are grateful for---write those things down and concentrate on them when you feel anxious.  Think of someone you could do something nice for today and do it---maybe send a card, a note, make a phone call(don't talk about your situation--ask the other person how they're doing).  Take a walk today--if leaving the house is difficult try walking around the outside of the house.  Stretch yourself today---you won't know what you can do until you try!!
   You're all in my thoughts today!!  I'm headed out for that walk.

I think doing somehting for others is very important to recovery. Everyday I try to do just one thing to make someone else smile, not only does it lift your own spirits, it makes you concentrate on others and come out from within yourself. It is my daily challenge!

Some suggestions;
-Making your partner or kids their fav meal and telling them that you made it coz u love them.
-Commenting on someones new haircut, jewellry, clothes or just telling them how nice they look today.
-Calling or email someone you have lost touch with
-Responding to people here with some tips of your own.
-Smiling at strangers and saying 'hello'
-Asking the shop attendent how their day has been.

Trust me, it works wonders for your spirit!
