Hi Susan,
Fingers crossed that it will work for both of us. My therapist told me to practice looking in a mirror. She said you should break your problems down and tap away saying the affirmation. Say you had a problem driving, you could start on driving to school, then driving to the shops and so on and so on. She also tried it on my self confidence. She said you can try it on anything.
I am not saying that this works for everyone, but I definately felt a big difference just after my first 10 minute session.
Let me know how you get on though.
Good luck xxx

Hi Kelli,
The therapy can work for some although not everybody. Have a look at www.emofree.com
There is a downloadable manual that gives you loads of info and shows you how to do it. Let us know how you get on with it. Good luck. xxx

Hi,
I'm new to this board but have been dealing with panic attacks on and off for many years. They seem to get worse when life gets stressful which has been the case for the last year or so. Anyway, have been looking for things to try and came across EFT but haven't had much success using it on my own and was thinking of trying with a therapist. So I would greatly appreciate it if Ann, Kitcat and anyone else who had good results with it would forward the name and number of their therapist to me. Most therapists will do EFT over the phone and I'd like to try someone that has been successful with one of you. They probably won't mind you putting their info. on this message board ( free advertising!) but in case they do I'll put my email address below and you could send it to me directly. I would really appreciate this, I'm a new teacher and looking at going for job interviews in the coming months and am afraid of having an attack in the interview!! It would be great to have some tool like this, please let me know.
Thanks alot,
Stella [email protected]

Hi Stella and welcome,
You have come to the right place! I see you are looking for information on EFT. There is a bit of info in the threads here but I am sure that others will provide info as you requested.
Please feel free to roam the site at your own pace. If you look to the left of the screen under "TOOLS" you will find many supportive tests. These tests are not diagnostic tools and are not a replacement or substitute for a physicians advice. The purpose of these tests is to prepare you with information that you can present to your physician. When youre finished the test, you can either print your Final Report or email it directly to your doctor.
We also have developed a Panic Program. This program is 12-weeks and involves the tools mentioned above. Each session is based on the previous session, so we strongly advise that you work slowly through the program and not jump ahead.
If you have any questions or concerns with our "TOOLS" you can contact our support department at [email protected].
Again welcome and we look forward to hearing from you soon!
