My sister just sent me A self help prgram for stress, anxiety, and Depression from the Midwest Center/Lucinda Bassett, and I know she paid a good penny for it, she got it off a info mercial. It looks pretty good, but I was wondering if anyone else had heard of it or used it before. It's a 15 week program. You see so many of these, just wondering? Jeannie

Hi Jeannie, Of all the anxiety and panic books I have read, a book called from panic to power was the one that helped me the most!!! Lucinda Bassett wrote it. I haven't tried the program but I tell you that book was and is a lifesaver!!

Jeannie, I also have the book "From Panic to Power" and found it to be very helpful. I didn't do the program but got alot out of the book. Let us know how it goes, maybe I'll invest in the program. Rachele

Well I did start the program, and does seem very good, it is similiar to this panic program, but offers more, tapes, a daily workbook, etc, but so far I have worked on two weeks, and it seems to be making an impact on me. Today I drove to the Dr, which was really tuff, but I went even ****her, and went to Walmart. This place is like six lanes of heavy traffic everywhere, I used some of the skills that the program offers, and it helped alot! I am currenly on my 6th day of paxil, so that may be helping too, but I am actually feeling hopeful, and that is soo much more than I had two weeks ago, I suffer from depression, GAD, PD, so I have alot to conquer....but I believe the more I try, the father I will get. It's a 15 week program, I have no idea the cost, but I will keep you updated.
